Es erstaunt mich immer wieder, wie Dinge im Leben so völlig aus dem Nichts einfach aufploppen. So gehäuft. Ohne dass ich es irgendwie beeinflussen könnte. Diesesmal: New York! Gestern bekam ich Überraschungspost von da, bzw. Alaska, von meiner Astrid, die dort lebt mit ihrem Schatz, in völliger Abgeschiedenheit, auf einer Insel namens Kodiak und es gab bis vor kurzem nicht ein einziges gutes Restaurant. Aber jetzt. Endlich. ;) – Und ich freu mich auch über das Internet. Und über echte Post. Danke Liebste.

Desweiteren erhielt ich zur selben Zeit auch andere Post aus NY, die da zu tun hat mit dem Textile Arts Center und Princeton Architectural Press. Weiß noch nicht was jetzt passiert, aber ich fasse es kaum. Also beziehungsweise ich freue mich so richtig, wie ich mich still freuen kann.

It always amazes me how things in life pop up so completely out of the void. So repeated. So without myself influencing these things. This time: New York! Yesterday I received surprise-mail! From NY Alaska, from my dear Astrid, who lives there with her darling, in seclusion, on an island called Kodiak and there was, until recently, not a single good restaurant. But now. Finally. ;) – And I’m so happy there’s something like the internet, too. And true mail. Thank you sweetheart.

I also received – at the same time – another mail from NY that has to do with the Textile Arts Center and Princeton Architectural Press. Still don’t know what happens now, but I hardly grasp it. Or I‘m quite sure I am as happy as I can quite be.
